How to Install Sintel Forms

Installing Sintel Forms is really simple and generally only involves 3 steps:

  1. Verify your organization has a tenant app catalog
  2. Download the Sintel Forms App from us
  3. Upload the Sintel Forms App into the tenant app catalog

 

Please note that these steps should be performed by a tenant administrator.

 

Prerequisites

You must first ensure your tenant has an app catalog created, this is the location where you will upload the Sintel Forms App. You can also use a site collection app catalog but for the purposes of this article we will assume you will use a tenant app catalog as this is our recommended approach.

Step 1 Verify you have an app catalog

  1. Attempt to open one of the following URLs:
  2. If you have a tenant app catalog it should open when you attempt to use 1 of the 2 URLs above. If it does not open then you need to create it.
  3. If your tenant does not have a tenant app catalog, creating one is easy. Follow these steps:
    • Navigate to the SharePoint admin center.
    • Click on More features.
    • Under the Apps section, click on Open.
    • This will trigger the creation of the Tenant App catalog.

 

Step 2 Download the Sintel Forms App

Download the Sintel Forms App from us here:

https://s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/sintel.forms.m365/SintelForms.app

Step 3 Upload the Sintel Forms App

Upload the Sintel Forms App into your tenant app catalog:

https://YourTenantName.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/tenantAppCatalog.aspx

Step 4 Optionally set the Sintel Forms App icon

Now that the app is added to your tenant app catalog you might want it to have it’s own icon to make it more obvious to your users. To do this simply download the Sintel Forms icon, upload it to the Site Assets Library and set the path to the icon in the app properties.

  1. Download the Sintel Forms App icon here
  2. Upload the icon into the Site Assets Library within your tenant app catalog
  3. Open the properties of the app and provide the URL to the Icon: https://YourTenant.sharepoint.com/sites/YourAppCatalog/SiteAssets/SFAppIcon.png

 

Now that the app is uploaded users can add it to any SharePoint site Add Sintel Forms to a SharePoint Site.
