Workflow: Payment Actions

You are here:

Payment Actions are configured similarly to regular workflow actions in Sintel Forms but include additional settings that enable you to collect payments from users or customers via Stripe.

⚠️

Important:

If your form template is not connected to a Stripe account, users will not see the payment action. Additionally, if the Stripe connection is in Test mode, the payment action will be visible, but no real payments will be processed. [Click here for more details about configuration.]

How Payment Actions Work

Payment Actions inherit most properties from standard workflow actions, with one key difference: they include a dedicated “Payment Checkout Properties” section. These settings define what users or customers see on the Stripe checkout page when making a payment.

Payment name – mandatory – the name which will be displayed on the Stripe checkout page
Payment amount – mandatory – the amount of money for the payment. Here you can define a hardcoded amount or bind the value with a field on the form (checkbox below). You can also define the currency.

Payment image – an image that will be displayed on the Stripe checkout page.
