The November 2025 update introduces several important features, enhancements to the JavaScript API, improvements to form logic, and multiple quality-of-life updates throughout the application. This release focuses strongly on extensibility, customisation and improving the developer and form-builder experience.
Conversations
Added support for the conversations feature within forms, which enables richer communication around form submissions and workflows. This feature supports contextual discussions tied directly to items, enhancing collaboration across teams and departments.
JS API updates
The JavaScript API has been significantly expanded, providing developers with more power and flexibility when building dynamic forms and custom interactions.
New JS API methods include:

saveForm – Allows developers to trigger form saving, enabling advanced automation scenarios.

executeAction – Provides the ability to run configured actions directly through JavaScript, supporting more interactive user experiences.

getListItems – Offers dynamic retrieval of SharePoint list items, allowing for real-time queries and responsive UI components.

setErrorMessage – Allows setting detailed custom error messages during form validation.

showErrorMessage – Displays message prompts directly to users, improving error visibility and user guidance.

updateLookupOptions – Enables dynamic modification of lookup field options, allowing lookups to be filtered or updated based on user input or logic.
These additions make the platform far more scriptable and customisable.
After save JS script
A new After Save JavaScript execution point has been introduced. This allows running custom scripts immediately after a form is submitted.
Append-only multiline text field
Users can now access a dedicated panel to review the history of a form, facilitating tracking and auditing of form activities.
Custom HTML Widget
A new widget has been introduced that allows embedding custom HTML directly inside forms.

Resolving Display Issues with Longer Group/Person Names in Configuration Fields

The October release delivered a wide range of improvements, particularly focused on logic enhancements, user experience improvements, and extended support for SharePoint integration.
Application consent flow updates
The application consent process has been completely redesigned with a new consent confirmation page, providing clearer guidance on required permissions and improving the onboarding experience.
Logic updates
This release significantly strengthened the platform’s logic engine:
- Set Workflow Action State Step
Allows workflow creators to change the state of workflow actions. - Added Moment and Luxon Libraries
Developers now have access to moment.js and luxon, enabling advanced date and time calculations directly in logic scripts. - Related List Support for getValue/setValue
Logic steps can now programmatically read or update related list fields.
Extended choice field options
Choice fields now support more advanced configuration options, providing greater flexibility in designing intuitive user inputs.
Improved email editor layout
The email editor has been improved with a more modern layout and better formatting controls, making communication templates easier to create and manage.
Improved PDF handling of attachments and workflow history
Enhancements have been made to PDF handling, including better representation of both attachments and workflow history.
Link to SharePoint field in field properties in Designer
A new option allows designers to quickly navigate to the underlying SharePoint field directly from field properties, streamlining configuration and troubleshooting.
Extended License Information
When form usage exceeds the licensed limit, the system now provides more detailed information—helping customers understand usage patterns and potential upgrade options.
Configuration Schema Validation
The Designer now validates configuration schemas directly against SharePoint, ensuring that forms and workflows are aligned with underlying list structures.

New Sintel Apps product to replace Sintel Forms
We’re excited to launch our new SPFx based product named Sintel Apps, which will replace our current product Sintel Forms. The new product will contain the same feature set as the current product but will provide some significant improvements in layout, logic and workflow, along with better integration with Sintel BI. Some of the Key highlights include:
- Enhanced Layout options
- Extended Logic options with more control of conditions including grouping
- New Visual workflow designer which makes configuring workflows a breeze
- New Dialog and Panel open options from Sintel BI-You can now open forms directly on top of a dashboard without losing any filters or sorting that you had applied.
