How to Create a New List
Sintel Forms are built on top of SharePoint lists. This means every form you create is directly connected to a SharePoint list. Below are the different ways to create a list to use with Sintel Forms.
Option 1: Create a List from Site Contents
- Navigate to your SharePoint Site contents.
- Click New > List > List again.
- Enter a name for your list.
- Click Create.
Your new list will open automatically. Once opened, you’ll see the Sintel Forms Designer button in the top command bar.
Click Sintel Forms Designer to begin building your form. Any fields you add and save within the Designer will automatically become columns in the underlying SharePoint list.
Option 2: Create a New List from Within the Sintel Forms Designer
You can also create a list directly from within the Sintel Forms Designer:
- Open the Sintel Forms Designer from any existing list or app page.
- Click the dropdown menu in the top banner.
- Select New list.
- Enter a title for your list and click Proceed.
This will launch the Designer interface for your new form. Once you save the form, the associated SharePoint list will be created in the background, with all form fields added as list columns.
Option 3: Use an Existing List
Within the Sintel Forms Designer, you can also select an existing list already available on the site:
- Click the dropdown menu at the top of the Designer.
- Choose a list from the available options.
This allows you to build a Sintel Form on top of an existing SharePoint list.
