Theme & Styling

This article explains how to customise the theme and visual styling of a form in the Sintel Apps Designer.

All styling options are available in:

Layout tab → Select the Form → Properties panel (right-hand side)

When the form itself is selected, you can control global styling, when a section is selected, styling applies only to that section.

What Can Be Customised

Below is an overview of the available styling areas.

1. Header Area

  • Title font and size

  • Description font and size

  • Text alignment

  • Header background colour

  • Title, description, and icon colours

This controls the main top sections of the form.

2. Background

  • Page background colour

  • Form body background colour

Use contrast to make the form easy to read.

3. Tab Styling (if using tabbed sections)

You can style:

Active Tab

  • Tab text colour

  • Tab background colour

  • Tab icon colour

  • Tab underline colour

Standard Tabs

  • Font and size

  • Background colour

  • Text colour

  • Icon colour

 

4. Field Styling

Global styling for all fields:

  • Label font and size

  • Label colour

  • Field body text colour

Section-level styling can override these settings.

5. Workflow Status Styling

If Workflow is enabled, you can configure:

  • Status text font and size

  • Text colour

  • Icon size
